Catch the tide...

As some of you might know I always find most of my answers, ideas and more importantly my peace in music. For a very long time music has shown me to be a very strong way to communicate about how I feel or what keeps me busy. This is the reason why I always add a song to most of my posts here. It just expresses the way I feel at that particular moment.

Only 21 days left before I leave this amazing place. The last couple of weeks I noticed how many things I appreciate about Brighton and most about the people that live here and make this town such a beautiful place to be. I will certainly miss living here and hope I will adjust to living in The Netherlands again the way I did when I moved to Brighton. It has become a place that I can call  my home and I will certainly come back...

Last night I had the last training with my team from Old Varndeanians U9. It has been a wonderful year seeing all the boys create their own role in this team. Even for the boys that joined later it was easy to find their way. I am very thankful to have been able to show them my world of football and looking back I can see what improvement they made throughout the year which makes me proud as well. Just as music I think football is a way of communication. And I see now what part this wonderful game has in my life. I wish the boys of Old Varndeanians U9 all the best for the future and I promise whenever I come to visit Brighton in the near future I will come to watch them play.

"Here I come to find myself, catch the tide.
Looking for a peace at the end of the line.
Sometimes I can't help myself, fever's high.
I'm all at sea and so unwise."
